I’ve been using the Action 5 Pro for a few months now, and I’m in love with it. However, I encountered an issue today while using the FOV Boost Lens. I uploaded two clips: the first one was filmed a couple of days ago on a rocky trail where the camera took some heavy hits, and the footage is remarkably stable thanks to RockSteady (pun intended).
The second clip, shot yesterday, is a shaky mess. The only difference in settings is that the first clip was shot in Ultra Wide, while the shaky one was set to Wide. Otherwise, they are both recorded in 4k30, D-Log M, with RockSteady and other settings remaining the same.
What could be causing this? Should I reach out to DJI for a warranty replacement? I’m planning to take it out again tomorrow to test it in Ultra Wide since that worked fine before switching to Wide. The camera hasn’t hit the ground yet (though that’s an eventuality as most of my action cameras do at some point due to occupational hazards), and I didn’t alter my mounting setup (using a custom-built chest mount that’s much more stable than typical GoPro setups).

No, it doesn’t reset. Stabilization was definitely turned on.
That’s strange. Maybe a reboot will help. It could be a glitch in the software that needs correcting. I haven’t seen anyone else report this issue, and I don’t have access to the FOV Boost Lens to test. Hopefully, someone will have a solution or explanation.

I tried power cycling multiple times between the two days, but that didn’t help. I’m going riding again tomorrow, so I’ll test it out then.
