I looked at the Mavic Enterprise Dual, but the lowest price I found was close to $2K
Yeah, $2K is considered cheap when it comes to thermal drones.

Cheap and thermal don’t go together. The cheapest option is probably a Mavic Enterprise, but for anything new and worth your time, look into the Mavic 3T.
Anyone here actually using a thermal drone for work? What do you use it for?

Mainly for insurance claims and checking buildings for leaks.

I use it for police work and search-and-rescue missions.

I’m a security guard and thinking of getting a Mavic after reading this.
Here you go… Adorama link
You didn’t mention what you mean by ‘affordable.’ Since I got rich, I kinda think of things as ‘expensive’ if they would’ve been a big deal for me to buy before.
I got a Mavic 2 Enterprise Thermal for $2200 on eBay. It came with a hard case, a big screen controller, a spotlight, and a loudspeaker (planning to use that to yell ‘fore!’ at golfers for fun). There’s also a strobe attachment, but it should really just come standard.
@Toby
Still for sale? caronaes@telus.net
You could try the Parrot Anafi Thermal or just get a separate thermal camera and attach it to your drone.
Does anyone know where I can find an Anafi Thermal in the UK? Having a hard time finding one.
Thermal imaging isn’t as cool as people think. Even the high-res models with fast refresh rates aren’t all that. Unless you have a specific use for it, I wouldn’t bother. I use mine for wildlife management, and it does the job, but if you’re just looking for fun, you’re better off spending your money elsewhere.
@Hartley
It’s actually for insurance adjusting work.
Check out the new Autel Evo Lite Enterprise.
Here’s what I did… I got some attachments:
Y’all are so focused on debating the word ‘affordable’ that you forgot to actually recommend any drones.
