Anyone else feel the Mini 4 Pro tracking doesn't really avoid stuff well…?

I just upgraded from the Mini 2 SE to the Mini 4 Pro. I do like it a lot overall, but the way it handles obstacle avoidance really let me down. I was using the tracking mode and it ran right into a branch. It wasn’t dark out or anything weird lighting-wise. The branch was pretty visible too.

Luckily it only dropped about five feet and the only damage was to the propellers. Nothing major, just annoying. Has this happened to anyone else?

They mention all over that it doesn’t really catch thin branches. I think this one’s kind of on you.

Yeah I’ve seen a bunch of videos and read reviews on the Mini 4 Pro, but I guess I missed that bit.

It’s been pointed out loads of times. This is one of those known limits.

Kind of the usual story… did you go through the manual at all? What does DJI actually say about tracking stuff? :male_detective:t2:

I wouldn’t try tracking myself in spots like that to be honest. Too many little things for it to miss.
