I picked up a used Avata 1 setup and it ran fine except for this weird drifting issue. I tried everything I could think of to sort it out, then finally sent it to DJI—they said it was ‘hover drift.’ So I gave in and got a brand new Avata 1, but even this one feels like it’s drifting. I’ve tested both with different controllers, tweaked a bunch of settings, tried every flight mode, and it’s not windy outside either. I really don’t get what’s going on here. Any ideas?
You will need to calibrate the IMU and your GPS, I had the same issues with my used Avata 1 and it fixed the tricked.

Ive done this multiple times and it didn’t fix it, thanks for the info tho
Im pretty good at flying I would say, I’ve been flying a mini 3 for over a year now and have been practicing in sims for a little bit.
