Anyone else notice quality slipping with new DJI stuff?

I ordered a Mavic 3 Pro fly more combo from Amazon on Wednesday. It showed up Thursday, and right away I saw problems. The RC Pro’s right antenna wouldn’t stay up, and one of the batteries was totally dead the next morning, even though all 3 were charging overnight.

Since I had it shipped to a hotel far from home, I didn’t want to deal with carrying the box back. I called DJI, and they basically said to return it if I was still within the window. So I set it up for return and dropped it off before catching my flight.

At the airport, I ordered the same package again from Amazon. It arrived today, but this time only two batteries came in the box. The packing slip says there should be 3, but the box only shows 2 pictured. One of the batteries won’t light up at all — not when I press the button, not when I put it in the charger. The other one at least starts charging. I tried all the charger slots, but the dead one still won’t react.

Now Amazon’s out of stock. I’m also worried returning a second one so soon might mess with my future return history, and I can’t afford to order another one until the first refund clears on my Amazon card.

Has anyone else run into anything like this? Do I just sit and wait until DJI has more batteries in stock, or is there something else I can do?

Honestly sounds like you might’ve ended up with a used or fake unit. That kind of stuff usually comes from third-party sellers.

Nah, Amazon was the seller both times. I always buy directly from them or sellers like Adorama that I know and trust. Everything came sealed.

Do you know who the seller was?

Yep — it was Amazon themselves. I make sure to only order from sellers I know are solid. Both boxes were sealed up tight.

Just to check… who exactly sold it to you?

Amazon sold it directly. The boxes were sealed, no signs of tampering or anything like that.

That RC Pro antenna thing? Yeah, it’s been a common issue. We had a few Cines in stock and kept getting returns because of that problem. Ended up just sending the whole batch back to DJI.
