I’ve balanced the gimbal perfectly on all axes, but when the horizontal axis locks, it slightly throws the camera off balance.
It’s minor, but I want to avoid having to reorient all my footage during editing for straight lines, etc. I’ve been using this gimbal for two years, but this issue just started cropping up in the last week or so.
Could the motors be burned out or defective? Is there a way to troubleshoot or reset the balance settings? I’ve tried recalibrating it, but that didn’t help, which makes me think the problem might be with the motor itself.

Is your camera actually not level? You might need to calibrate the camera’s electronic level.
It doesn’t seem to be a camera issue. On a leveled tripod or a flat surface, the camera reads level. However, on the gimbal, it’s off-level like in the photo, and vertical lines appear slightly askew.
@Wynn
I understand; as someone in an old house, finding flat and level surfaces can be tough. If what you say is correct, you can refine the roll angle in your gimbal’s settings.

I think that’s the best route. I’ve adjusted the settings and found a point I’m happy with. Thanks for your help!
