I’m planning to get my Part 107 license soon, so I’m looking to buy a drone to use once I have it. I’ve only flown some small DJI drones in the past, so I’m not sure what would be best for what I need.
I plan to use the drone for reels, TikTok content, weddings alongside photographers, and real estate videos and photos.
Should I just focus on the resolution I want, or are there specific drones that work better for these things?

It depends on what you consider ‘too windy.’ The Neo is like a toy and can barely handle a breeze, but the Mini is decent for real estate and social content. If you’re facing windy conditions often, go for something heavier like the Air series.
I have a Mavic 3 Pro, and it’s super stable even in strong winds. The Mavic 4 should be out soon, so you might get a better deal on the Mavic 3 then.

I’ll keep an eye out for that. I’m leaning towards spending more upfront to avoid upgrading too soon.
If you can afford it and will use it regularly, go for the Mavic 4 Pro. But remember, if you’re not good at photography or editing, even a $3,000 drone won’t magically improve your results.
I work in social media marketing and started with a Mini 3 Pro. If you’re flying in a city, I’d suggest the Mini 4 Pro for the O4 transmission—it’s better for urban areas. Right now, I’m using an Air 3 and love the 70mm 3x zoom lens, though it’s not essential for most jobs.
