Hey, I just got my DJI Mini 4K, and my screen keeps showing black and white stripes everywhere while flying. My Neo never did this, and I haven’t seen anyone else mention it. Is this normal?
That’s the overexposure warning. It’s telling you there’s too much light, and you’re losing details. Try adjusting your camera settings.

You can change it in the settings.
It’s called the zebra setting.
It’s showing you which parts of your image are overexposed.
Read the manual.
Your drone is slowly turning into a zebra.
How do you enable those target grid lines on the screen?

You can turn on the grid in the settings.

ND filters are for video.
Their job is to increase shutter time for smoother motion blur. They aren’t useful for photos unless you’re doing long exposure.
They dim the whole image, not just the bright spots, so if you’re using auto exposure, the shutter speed will adjust and give you the same issue.
I think the real problem here is figuring out how to turn off the zebra stripes. That’s in the settings.
If you want to avoid overexposure, you need to adjust shutter speed, ISO, and exposure manually in pro mode.
@Vaughn
Let me guess… the deleted comment was another person saying ‘just use ND filters’ without actually knowing what they do? Happens all the time.
