Bought the mic mini but my phone won’t let me use it

Hey, I just got the mic mini to use for WhatsApp and Discord calls, but those apps don’t let me use it. I still sound bad and it doesn’t seem to use the mic mini mic at all.

I have the Samsung S24.

Make sure you plug the receiver into the USB port or use the right adapter. If you try using it over Bluetooth without the receiver, the audio gets compressed badly and sounds awful. Plus, a lot of apps only use the internal mic unless you connect the USB receiver.

No, I’m using it with USB-C directly. It works fine with the camera app and other places, just not on Discord or WhatsApp.

I think those apps don’t support it.

Some people said they do use it for calls on Discord. I asked a few days ago if it works.

Are you connecting with the receiver or just Bluetooth?

I’m connecting with the RX receiver plugged in directly through USB-C.
