It could damage the camera sensor, but it’s unlikely to make the drone crash.
The longer the laser needs to focus, the more expensive it gets, and it can go into the billions.
If it can damage plastic, wouldn’t it also hurt things made of plastic?
Does distance matter with lasers like this?
The laser in the video probably wouldn’t be able to damage the drone. You’d need something around 10w, and it would have to be set at the right distance and on the drone for a few seconds. A 4w laser wouldn’t do it, and even a 10w would need to be aimed at the exact spot for a while, with no wind.
