I’ve got a DJI Mini 4 Pro, and now DJI is trying to charge me for repairs after my drone had a navigation error mid-flight at night. I lost control, and the drone fell out of the sky. This doesn’t seem fair since it wasn’t my fault.
Hi there, sorry to hear about the trouble. Could you please provide us with the case number (CAS)? We’ll check on it and follow up. Thanks!

Thanks for looking into it.
@Olen
I had a similar issue with my Mini 3. It wasn’t at night, but I also got a ‘Navigation Error,’ and my drone dropped. It happened a couple of times before it finally broke. I sent it in for repair, and they quoted me a price, but I told them the damage wasn’t my fault, and it was still under warranty. They replaced it for free. You might just be dealing with a warranty issue.
@Remy
It’s still under warranty. I had the same thing happen—navigation error at night, and then the drone started drifting down on its own.
@Olen
Thanks for the info. We’ve forwarded it to the relevant team, and we’ll follow up as soon as we hear back.
