Crashed my drone… is it really beyond repair?

I don’t think I can fix this myself, so what are my next steps?

It’s not beyond repair at all.

Same thing happened to mine. A little super glue held it together for about a year until I had to send it in for a worn-out gimbal.

How much did the gimbal repair cost? DJI has my Air 2S right now for a bent gimbal.

Hard to tell what’s actually broken, but if you’re okay with soldering, you can order replacement arms. I replaced one on my Air 2S for $35—just had to desolder six wires and solder the new ones in. Works great!

‘Beyond repair’ is when it gets run over by a car or sinks in the ocean and you find it days later. If you have the right parts, this is totally fixable. Or just send it to DJI—parts will probably be around $10, and the rest is labor and shipping.

Send it to DJI for repair.

Send it to me, I’ll recycle it for you!

Throw it away, it’s totaled.
