I made a better RC2 mini sticks. The ones made by other creators are either too difficult to put on, block the full gimbal movement or are just too big. The one I made are super tiny and even has a little tool to screw it in! STLs available on maker world soon!
taking “thumbing” to a whole new level over here.
I think it’s widely acknowledged that longer stick ends allow for higher physical resolution/control.

Mostly for the convenience of not having to mount and unmount the sticks before packing it in the bag. But after using these tiny sticks I somehow prefer them over the stock ones

Get a cover like YouTube Robert’s has. I don’t know what they are but the sticks can be left on.

I’ve tried them, not as bad as I thought they’d be but I still prefer full sticks and can fit it all in my bag without removing thankfully.
There should be a logical reason why DJI designers did not included some parts including floaters, extension legs, extensions for internal antenna, these sticks … I have seen many useless accessories and I am afraid this is another one. physics is never wrong law of the lever by archimedes

I think this is brilliant. I use my drone in a “look at that! I need to capture this right now” kind of way. And taking out the sticks in a hurry and screwing them in quickly while trying not to drop them is something I wouldn’t mind improving upon. I will bookmark this thread and wait for the STLs to be posted (which is very kind by the way) and give them a try. Thanks for making these. I can’t wait to try them.
EDIT: I noticed there are several others on maker world who had the same idea. I think I like the design of yours more. And the tool to screw them in is a nice touch. Great job.
