Just got off the phone with DJI, and they told me they’re refunding my order because my Air 3S is stuck in customs. I asked if I could wait it out or get a replacement shipped, but they said they’re refunding all Air 3S orders for US customers. This might be old news for some, but I just got the call. Anyone else dealing with this?
Get your money back and check Amazon. Maybe they have them in stock? Or are they playing along by not having stock either? They should have them by now… feels like something bigger is going on here. Sad situation.
@Wynne
Amazon has the Fly More combo for $1,999, which is $300 more than DJI’s website.

That’s unusual for Amazon. Are they price gouging? Is this why so many people are ordering directly from China to save money? I got mine from Amazon UK at the standard price.
@Wynne
Third-party sellers in the US are struggling to get bulk shipments, so there’s very little stock available.

Doesn’t make it right for Amazon to allow price gouging. They’re usually better than this.
@Wynne
It’s probably third-party sellers, not Amazon directly. I haven’t checked the listings myself, though.

Over here, the Fly More combo is around $1,727 USD. What’s the Amazon price in the US?

I was talking about items sold and fulfilled by Amazon, not third-party sellers. Why doesn’t Amazon have stock by now? They’re usually ahead of everyone else.
@Wynne
Same reason B&H or Best Buy doesn’t. US customs is holding up all DJI shipments, both bulk and individual orders. This has been going on for months.

If that’s the case, something much bigger is happening. I wouldn’t buy one until this is sorted out. Get your money back while you can.
@Wynne
Just checked the listing—it’s from a third-party seller with bad reviews, not Amazon directly.
@Wynne
My total from DJI was $1,704. On Amazon, it’s $1,999 with tax.

That’s way too much for an Air 3S. Amazon should crack down on these sellers for price gouging.

It was listed under the DJI Store on Amazon.
I went into debt for mine, but I’m so glad I ordered it before the new year. It’s an awesome drone. Hope everyone else can get theirs soon.

I ordered mine in early December, but it’s been stuck in customs since December 19th.
@Dane
Weird. I ordered mine on December 27th from DJI’s site, and it came through China. Got it by December 30th. Not sure why mine went through so fast while others are stuck.

I ordered mine on December 28th, and it cleared customs in Anchorage but has been stuck at the UPS Worldport in Kentucky for over a week. I filed a complaint with my state’s attorney general because UPS won’t release it.
@Eli
Mine’s stuck in Kentucky too. It’s been scanned multiple times but hasn’t cleared customs yet. I contacted UPS, and they said they’re working with customs brokers. This is frustrating, especially for something this expensive.
