Does the FAA track my drone flights?

Hey folks, I’m looking for some insights into the FAA Drone Zone. I’m relatively new to drone flying and need to register my drone. Can anyone share their experiences or tips for navigating the registration process? Any help would be appreciated. Thank…

Most of the time, they find them because the pilot was stupid enough to tell on themselves. "Hey everyone, thanks for watching my show. Watch this video of me breaking the law. It’s important that you hit the join button and ring the bell so you know when I do something wrong again!

FAA track flights? Not usually, unless your drone has “Remote ID” enabled.

Follow this simple steps to successfully register your drone:

  1. Create an Account on FAADroneZone
Go to the FAA DroneZone website.
Provide your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
  2. Enter Drone Details
Input the make and model of your drone.
Include the serial number (if applicable).
  3. Pay the Registration Fee
The current fee is $5, valid for three years.
Use a credit or debit card for payment.
  4. Receive Your FAA Tracking Number
Once registered, you’ll get an FAA registration certificate.
Keep this certificate (either paper or digital) with you when you fly.
  5. Label Your Drone
Before flying, label your drone with the registration number provided by the FAA.
