Gently used Mini 4 for sale

I started this hobby wanting to be an amateur photographer, flying my drone almost every day to capture great photos. That was about a year ago, and I’ve only used it around 35 times since then. I haven’t touched it in the last three months. My question is: Should I be taking it out regularly to run updates, or can I just update it when I plan to use it, knowing it might take some time if I’m flying every 3-6 months?

It probably doesn’t matter too much, but I’d suggest using it and turning it on at least once a month to keep the battery healthy.

I’ve been keeping the batteries at exactly 60% with an aftermarket charger that shows the exact percentage. Thanks for the advice! That’s a great point. Even if I don’t run all the updates, I should at least cycle the batteries. I feel a bit silly—I bought the Mini 4 Pro combo kit with the extended battery life, a pelican case, ND filters, and that $60 charger. Altogether, I spent around $1800, and I hardly use it. I should either start using this drone more or sell it; but the resale price is only about $500 online.

Is anyone interested in buying this? It still has DJI Care Refresh and includes everything you need to get started!

@Ashton
Lol, if we had this conversation two weeks ago, I would’ve bought it, but I already got a Mini 4K Fly More combo. I suggest holding onto it unless you can get a decent price. If you keep the battery healthy, you can always pick it up again in the future.
