I know DJI Care Refresh is a good backup, but is there anything else I can do to stop birds from attacking my drone? Any tricks or methods that work??
Just mount a Nerf gun on your drone and blast the birds away!
Okay, but seriously, there’s not much you can do. If you notice a bird getting aggressive, move the drone away quickly. A rapid, controlled descent can help. Some people also wrap their drones in red or reflective sticker skins to make them look less like prey.
@Harley
I think you meant descend rapidly.
Actually, ascending is better because birds struggle to fly straight up, but they can dive down easily.

Good point, but you also have to be careful about altitude limits and air traffic.
There’s not much you can do besides staying alert. If you see birds circling, climb as fast as possible—most birds can’t gain altitude quickly.
Never had a run-in with birds (luckily), but I’ve heard reflective tape can help. Best advice? Just avoid flying near birds in the first place. Take a moment before takeoff to scan the area and make sure it’s clear.
