Thanks for the advice! Did you take photos of a property without asking first just to have samples, or did you reach out to agents beforehand?
Yeah, I took some photos first, but it was of a warehouse, not a house. Commercial clients love seeing those shots—parking lots, roofs, road access, stuff like that. Most of my work ended up being for commercial properties, but now even regular homes often need aerial shots.
The housing market is super hot right now, so a lot of realtors might not care about drone photos or videos since houses are selling fast anyway. You might need to wait until things slow down a bit.

That’s true… it’s like easy mode for realtors right now.
I don’t have a drone, but years ago, I helped a friend sell their house by doing a walk-through with a steady cam. I gave the video to their realtor, and they liked it. I ended up doing a few more for that office.
You’ll probably need an online presence to show your work.
People might be cool with you starting small, as long as your work is good and presented well. You could use a site like Flickr or other platforms that let you share a gallery for free.
Or you could try hosting your own site, which can be really cheap or even free with certain services. Amazon had a promo a while back that offered free hosting for a year—might be worth checking out.
