This is a cool idea and good execution. I’ve been wanting to do something similar: a tiny PC with a monitor. So I can dump footage and lightly organize/edit. I’m just waiting for someone to lose a bag of money in my car or wait a few paychecks! Have you experienced any delay between the monitor and the controller? And how does it handle heat with all the foam around it? I’m still on the fence about enclosing it.
@Flynn
I literally just pieced it together this morning. I’m still waiting on a few odds and ends from Amazon. So far, I’m running it off a Milwaukee M12 battery.
How are you able to output from that controller? I thought HDMI was only on the RC Pro.

Drone Valley made a custom HDMI to Type-C cable compatible with the RC2.
I just keep mine in the little bag that came with the Fly More kit—easy to pack into a bag or carry on its own for hikes or long canoe trips. I never have to set the bag or drone down onto the dirty, wet ground since it’s always on me. I like your setup, though. Just not for me.
@Zev
I did this just for the novelty of it. Now when friends are out with me, they can look at this instead of hovering over my shoulder at the RC.

Yeah, the screen is what I like most about it.
