Is buying directly from DJI the best way for my first drone?

I’m looking to buy my first drone, and it looks like DJI is a good choice. Is the best place to buy a beginner drone directly from DJI? Do they have sales often? I’ve not noticed any yet. Are there other trusted places to buy DJI drones from?

Adorama is a good option if you want it quickly. I recently got my 3s from them. DJI sometimes deals with customs issues because of spying concerns and tariffs, you know.

I bought mine from Drone Nerds in Florida and it was a great experience. I also got the care program directly from DJI.

If you’re in Canada, the best place to buy a DJI is Costco. They have the Mini and Avata in stock. Their return policy is unbeatable, and it’s a good way to avoid using DJI Care except for fly-offs.
