Anyone heard about a new DJI Enterprise product? Could it be the Matrice 4?
Shouldn’t the Flip be announced this Wednesday too?

No event invite from DJI Consumer, so it’s probably not happening.

The Flip is likely coming the week after.

Really? How do you know? Do you mean next week for the announcement or the release too? I thought they were announcing this week with pre-orders starting January 13th.
@Luca
Got an email with details under embargo. I think it said the 16th, but that’s Thursday, so maybe it’s the 15th. The email mentioned ‘launch,’ but not sure if that means just the announcement or the release too.
Could they be renaming the Mavic Enterprise series to Matrice? It makes sense with the numbering and grouping all Enterprise models under one name.
Matrice # for what was Mavic Enterprise.
Matrice ## for the rugged drones.
Matrice ### for the big ones with interchangeable sensors.
@AltitudeAviator
That’s what I’m thinking too.
@AltitudeAviator
I’ve had the same thought. The new drone seems closer in size to a Mavic 3 than an M30, so it might be the successor to the Mavic 3E.
Yeah, Matrice 4T seems right.

Looks like it could be Wide+Zoom+Thermal+Range finder. Hoping for Timesync on all of them!

The naming is confusing. Is the 4T replacing the 30T?

It’s more like a successor to the Mavic 3T. Based on leaks, there will be T and E (non-T) versions again. It might be very similar to the rumored Mavic 4 body.

Yes, that’s right.

Not exactly, since it’s a smaller platform and likely won’t have an IP rating.
@Shan
They could waterproof a Mavic-style airframe. I think they’re moving the Mavic Enterprise series into the Matrice family to separate commercial from consumer drones.
I might need a drone with thermal capabilities soon. Could invest in one of these or find someone selling their 3T after upgrading.

I’ll be selling my Phantom 4 RTK and Mavic 2 EA when I upgrade to this one
@Sam
Make sure the new 4T works with your current workflow software.

Anything is better than the M2EA, but I need to confirm Timesync is included.
