Is this Mini 4 Pro Black Friday deal fake?

I’m about to buy my first drone and saw a crazy deal on Amazon’s early Black Friday sales. The Fly More Combo price seems way too low and it’s sold by a third-party seller. Do these deals ever drop this much, or should I avoid it?

Use a credit card, not a debit card. If anything goes wrong, credit cards make it much easier to dispute charges.

Doesn’t matter much though, Amazon usually refunds you if there’s an issue.

@Noah
True, but better safe than sorry.

Third-party seller? Yeah, I’d skip it for something this expensive.

How do you know it’s a third-party seller?

Amazon lists the seller and shipper under the price. This one shows it’s not directly from DJI. I wish I could post a screenshot to show it.

Look under the ‘Buy Now’ button. If it says something like ‘Sold by XYZ,’ it’s third-party.

It seems like it’s from DJI’s Amazon store. Where are you seeing third-party?

The listing doesn’t show the seller in the screenshot.

@Ira
Look again. The top-left corner says DJI with a link to their store.

No, that’s just a link to their storefront. The actual seller is listed near the ‘Add to Cart’ button.

@Ira
Click the image and scroll down; it clearly says DJI.

That’s not how it works. I checked, and the seller is some random third-party company with an odd name. It’s not DJI.

Hope you grabbed it! The price jumped back to $1159 today.

Why would it be fake? Amazon has great return policies. Someone also mentioned PayPal, which is super reliable for refunds.

Exactly, PayPal is always a solid option.

If it’s from the official DJI store on Amazon, you’re good. Personally, I’d use the DJI app to skip Amazon fees, but if it’s cheaper here, go for it.

It’s not from DJI. The seller is some random company in a rural area in China. Their sales page looks sketchy. Also, DJI’s app orders are slow to process right now. My last order took weeks just to ship.

@Pace
Fair point. I’m in Australia, so my orders come faster, but I’d avoid shady sellers like this too.
