Just got my new drone… any advice?

My new drone finally showed up and I’m super excited. Never flown one before. Any tips before I get started?

Yeah, just spam the forum with pics of the shipping box and say ‘look what I got.’ That’s the tradition.

Come on, OP asked for real tips. Be helpful.

First thing—open the box. A key or knife works well to cut the tape. Inside, you’ll likely see another box, probably with the DJI logo. If it’s there, you’re on track.

If there’s no box inside… maybe time to reorder and hope for better luck!

You got me there. Well played.

Step one: open the box.

At this rate we’ll be seeing delivery tracking screenshots next.

This is giving me serious SE7EN vibes lol :wink:

Microwave the battery to boost flight time.

What even is this post?

It’s someone poking fun at how this forum is just filled with cardboard box photos lately.

Looks like the box was already opened… better check it’s a drone and not a brick.

What if it’s a remote-controlled brick?

Only if it’s stuffed in a sock.

@Laken
Your username really fits this energy :joy:

You didn’t snap a photo of the delivery van? Missed opportunity.

Yep. Start over and do it right this time.

got mine today too!:pray:t2: any tips for this one?

@Morgan
Nice. You got the XL brown box edition.

@Morgan
You’re basically a celebrity in the cardboard world now.

Funny how I just saw another post complaining about too many drone box pics :rofl:

Return it and try again for better packaging.
