Mavic 4 Pro rumors are starting to pop up. Anyone keeping up with the leaks?
Saw Jasper Ellens posted some new info—including pricing!
"The DJI Mavic 4 Pro (with DJI RC2) will cost $2,250.
The DJI Mavic 4 Pro Fly More Combo (With DJI RC2) will cost $3,200.
And the big one: The DJI Mavic 4 Pro 512GB Creator Combo with the new DJI RC PRO 2 Controller will be $4,400."
Really hoping this is available in the U.S. I’d love the Creator Combo, but man, $4,400 is a lot. If I don’t go all in, I’m definitely grabbing the Fly More Combo for $3,200. This thing looks like it’s going to shake up the drone world!
@Jess
That’s a steep price tag… hard to justify as a hobbyist. What do you guys think?

Yeah, I get it. But let’s compare it to the current Mavic 3 Pro pricing:
- Mavic 3 Pro (with DJI RC): $2,199 vs. Mavic 4 Pro (with DJI RC2): $2,250. That’s just a $51 difference for all the new upgrades and a better controller.
- Mavic 3 Pro Fly More Combo (DJI RC): $2,999 vs. Mavic 4 Pro Fly More Combo (with DJI RC2): $3,200. Just $200 more for all the new features—seems worth it.
- Mavic 3 Pro Fly More Combo (DJI RC Pro): $3,889 vs. Mavic 4 Pro 512GB Creator Combo (DJI RC PRO 2): $4,400. Hmm, now I’m tempted to go for the Creator Combo.
- Mavic 3 Pro Cine Premium Combo (DJI RC Pro 2): $4,799. So actually, the new top-tier Mavic 4 Pro is $400 less than its equivalent Mavic 3 package.
If the leaks are accurate, this seems like a no-brainer upgrade over the Mavic 3 Pro. I’m jumping on it unless it ends up backordered for months or gets stuck in U.S. customs.
Whatever drone you end up going with, hope you have a blast flying it!
By the way, I got an Air 3S Fly More RC2 bundle last December—my first drone ever. Loved it so much that I just grabbed an Avata 2 last week for FPV flying. Totally different experience, but just as fun.
Sorry for the long reply—got a little carried away!
@Jess
That’s not really a fair comparison. You’re looking at today’s drone prices. When the Mavic 3 launched, it was just over $1K. The Cine version was around $2K. Now we’re looking at $4K+ for a new model?
If you can afford it, great. But most hobbyists can’t. DJI is slowly pricing out the casual flyers. Even the Neo went from $199 to $300 in a matter of months.
Honestly, I’m thinking about building my own drones. FPV controllers and thermal cameras are becoming more accessible.

Yep, that’s a lot lol.

Yeah, I sold my Mavic 3 because I wasn’t using it enough. At this point, my limit is the Air 3. I’m tired of upgrading every time DJI drops something new. Might as well wait for the Mavic 6 Pro next year… or Ocusync 12 next month.
Same thing Apple does.
I sold my Mavic 2 Pro in anticipation of this one. If the internal ND filters work as advertised, that’ll be a huge game-changer. But DJI always has some fine print, so I’m keeping my expectations in check.
I’ve got the Mavic 3 Pro with the RC Pro controller. It’s a beast. Not sure if I should upgrade or just hold out for the Mavic 5 Pro.

Wait.
Yes pls.
Can it shoot vertical video?
Damn, this thing looks insane! I need one!
The previous leaks mentioned a 2TB storage option for the Cine version. Wonder what happened to that?

If they’re saving that for a higher-end model, it’s probably going to be at least $5K.
@Bao
Yeah, I was thinking around $6K with 3 batteries… plus Trump tariffs.

Ugh, so unfortunate. I don’t need it, but I was hoping for a solid upgrade.
I really hope they release a thermal version.
No way I’m spending another $4K to upgrade from my Mavic 3 Pro. I bet a new version will be out next year anyway.
