I’m looking for some advice. A relative is coming back from the US this December, and I’m planning to take advantage of Black Friday to buy my first DJI drone. I work as a wedding and events planner and want to add drone shots to my services. I checked DJI’s Black Friday deals and now I’m torn between the Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo and saving a few hundred bucks by going for the Mini 3 Fly More Combo. Is there a big difference between the two in terms of video quality and how easy they are to use? Thanks in advance!
If you’re stuck between these two, this is a question that comes up a lot. Check out the weekly advice threads in this forum—they’ve got good tips on picking the right drone for your needs. Hope that helps!
Since you’re planning to use it for work, I’d say go with the 4 Pro. It’s more advanced and will probably suit your needs better.
For me, I’m thinking about getting the Mini 3 because it’s super affordable but still produces good quality photos and videos.
Always go for the Pro models like the Mini 3 Pro or Mini 4 Pro. They’re much more capable compared to the non-Pro versions.
I’d go for the Pro versions since they come with intelligent flight features.
A lot of the cool drone videos you see online are made using these features. If that’s something you want, the Pro is worth it.
If you want to consider something other than DJI, check out the Ruko F11GIM2. It’s a solid option too.
I’d spend the extra money on the Pro because of its obstacle avoidance system. It’s a lifesaver in tricky situations.

That’s true, though sometimes you’ll need to turn off the avoidance system for certain shots. Still, for professional use, you really don’t want to risk a crash—it’s not worth it.
Also, with the 4 Pro, you can add the wide-angle lens, which is a nice bonus.
