Not sure I picked the right drone…

So I just ordered the Mini 4 Pro, but now I’m second-guessing myself. I feel like maybe I should’ve gone with a Mavic 2 Pro or Air 2S because of the bigger sensors. Most of the Mini 4 Pro footage I’ve seen looks overly sharpened. Hopefully, it’s just folks not tweaking the sharpening settings properly. I’m planning to shoot in D-Log M with sharpness at -2. What do you all think of the video quality you’re getting?

Do any places still sell the M2P or A2S brand new? If the price is right, those might’ve been better picks.

I’ve seen them used around the same price as what I paid for the Mini 4 Pro.

@Vaughn
If you can grab a Mavic 2 Pro for under $500, that’d be a steal—it’s a great drone.

I compared the Air 3S and Mini 4 footage side-by-side, and honestly, there’s not a huge difference. If your final videos are just going on YouTube or social media, it’s probably not worth stressing over. The bigger drones mainly shine when it comes to flying in stronger winds and having a bit more power.

I saw someone post a couple shots from the Mini 4 Pro in London—one even had a plane in the frame. They were incredible. I’ve got the Mavic 4 Pro and Air 3S and haven’t captured anything that nice yet.

@Corey
That’s awesome, but I’m mostly focused on shooting video instead of photos.

Honestly, I think the Mini 4 Pro is a solid choice. The updates it has make it feel newer and more refined than the older models. If anything, maybe look at the Air 3 or 3S, but even then the differences aren’t massive.
