I currently own a Neo with an RC-N3 controller and a Mini 4K. They are a ton of fun, other than the Neo being a little flaky sometimes, and they have different skill sets. One’s appropriate for some things, while the other is appropriate for other things. I’ve been seeing some intriguing things about the Potensic Atom 2; it seems like a souped-up Mini 4K that also has the cool AI features of the Neo, along with some other pretty nifty features, for basically the same price as the Mini 4K. It seems like the Atom 4K will do everything that I currently need two DJI drones to do, so I’m thinking of getting the Atom 2 and selling my DJI drones. I’m curious about anyone’s thoughts on this. Part of me is worried about moving out of the DJI ecosystem, which seems pretty sturdy and well thought out.
After reading about all the problems the original Atom has, it scared me away from the Atom 2—that and there is literally no second-party parts that I could find. Plus not having a camera that accepts filters was a big issue for me.

Good points, thanks! Having HDR I think would help to some degree on the filter part, but probably not as good as having filters.

The worst is the huge issues a lot of folks are having with the original Atom after a firmware update. They are really pissed because seemingly the company isn’t acknowledging the issue, much less fixing it. That made me think they have no concern for after the sale.
Please don’t do it.
