Must have been a crazy tailwind!
Just to clear it up: this is a screenshot from my DJI Fly app while I was working. No, it’s definitely not flying at 140 mph. No idea why it’s showing that speed though.
I got the same bug on my Mini 3!

Maybe DJI is teasing a speed upgrade though we all know they won’t go that fast.
I bet it can get close, but only for a few seconds before the motors give out at high altitude!

We need to test this for science! I’ve got a big FRIA with a 575 ft AGL allowance. Who’s renting the crash pads, and who’s lending the drone?

I’ll bring a radar gun.
Same here on my Mini 3! It says it’s 26 million feet away and flying at 50 mph!

Maybe if you attach a rocket and catch a strong wind!

Same problem with my Mini 2 SE. It’s got to be the app, and it seems like it’s only affecting the imperial measurements.

My Mini 2 SE did that yesterday too. Glad I’m not the only one. Must be a bug that came with the redesign update.

It’s a software problem. DJI should be able to fix it. Probably has to do with the GPS conversion. Try switching units to m/s and then back to mph.

139.4 mph is about 204.5 feet per second. At that speed, that Air 2S would’ve covered 93 feet almost instantly!
