Should I get the Air3S or stick with the M4Pro?

I crashed my M4Pro recently and need to replace it.

The Air3S looks really appealing, but its bigger size is a bit of a drawback since it takes up more room in my bag compared to the M4Pro.

So my question is: is the Air3S worth it for better image quality or any other useful features (besides tracking)? Or is the improvement not big enough to make the switch?

I’m on a 4-month solo trip in Australia and need a replacement soon. Thinking about waiting for Christmas deals but might not be able to hold out that long.

Edit: Found a discount on the Air3S and decided to get it.

I think the 70mm camera is a really nice addition. It’s my favorite focal length for DSLR prime lenses, so having it on a drone is pretty exciting.

If size isn’t a deal-breaker, the original Mavic 3 might be worth considering. It has a longer telephoto lens for great parallax effects. The Mavic 3 Pro has both but costs more.

That’s a good point.

@Meade
Once you start using the 70mm, you won’t want to go back to anything else.

It really depends on what matters more to you—image quality or portability? Only you can decide that.

Aren’t the image quality specs basically the same for both drones? The Air3S just adds the long lens as an option.

You’re probably thinking of the Air 3, not the 3S.
