In Australia, a refurbished Mini 4 Pro is nearly double the price of a Mini 3. But the Mini 3 feels a bit outdated now, and I’m not super excited about buying it. What would you do?
Honestly, get the one you can actually afford.
Pretty sure the Mini 3 only shoots in Normal mode, but the Mini 4 Pro gives you Normal and D-Log M.
That alone makes it worth going for the Mini 4 Pro if you care about color grading.

Because the Mini 3 Pro is way more feature-packed than the basic Mini 3. It’s actually much closer to the Mini 4 Pro. The plain Mini 3 is kind of like the Mini 2 or Mini 4K version.
I’d say go for the Mini 4 Pro. I liked the Mini 3 too, but once you learn what the 4 Pro can do, you’ll probably want it anyway. That’s what happened to me—I ended up upgrading not long after.
