I’m looking at getting the mini 4 pro but not sure if I should hold off until the mini 5 comes out. People say it might drop in price once the new one drops around September. Should I just grab the mini 4 now or wait and get the mini 5 when it hits the shops?
Loads of folks on this forum grab the newest mini just because it’s fresh out, then still end up with bad footage. The hype gets to them and they drop over a grand for tiny upgrades like lidar, which isn’t even useful unless you’re flying without paying attention.
Mini 4 pro is a solid choice. I still use the mini 3 pro as a backup for pro shoots and it holds up just fine.

Honestly I was thinking the same thing… people forget how good the mini 3 and 4 already are.
I’d say just grab the mini 4 pro now, to be honest.
If that rumour about the 1-inch sensor turns out true, then yeah, waiting might be smart. Or you could do what I did and get the Flip for now.
