Tried fixing my drone... now I’ve got a stripped screw stuck deep in the body. Mavic Mini 1

Tried almost everything on Google, no luck.

An extractor bit should get that out.

Respectfully, if he messed this up, he’ll probably mess that up too.

Look for a precision screw removal tool.

Downvote me all you want, but honestly, it’s fine to snap off one screw and the connector. As long as you still have three screws in and most clips are intact, it’ll be fine. I’ve only stripped one in my past, and my drone still flies great.

@Davi
Honestly, I was just done trying other methods and went with this. Thanks for the help! I’ll let you know how it flies when I’m done. :+1:

No problem, man!

You’re screwed, for sure.

Try a rubber band.

Tried that, didn’t work unfortunately.

Try super glue on a screwdriver and let it set in the hole. Or use JB Weld. Just make sure to use a disposable screwdriver.

Then you’ll need a screw remover.

Just because you saw it on TikTok doesn’t mean it started there. This has been a thing for way longer than those videos.

I’ve used rubber bands for years.

If you don’t know what you’re doing, sometimes it’s better not to do it.
