Today I noticed that almost all DJI drones, except for the minis, are showing “notify me” instead of “buy now.” I can’t buy an Avata 2 and most DJI drones don’t seem to ship to the US anymore. Has anyone else seen this?
I just checked and the Avata 2 is still available to buy and ship to the US. I think it’s just low stock right now. The Mavic 3 Pro is available too. They’re estimating delivery for June 5th here in Arkansas.

Try switching the country at the top of DJI’s store website and check some popular models — it’s weird. Canada has stock but the US doesn’t.

They probably have separate warehouses for the US and Canada. The Canadian warehouse has stock, but the US one doesn’t. That’s how some other companies I buy from work too.

That’s true, but there’s also some weird stuff going on, like not releasing the Mavic 4 in the US because of politics.

Yeah, low stock is hitting a few things I buy directly from China. My robot lawn mower, which is near DJI, has been out of stock most of the year and parts are hard to find. Other stuff from China is out of stock too, with no clear restock date.

Also, the US store has a limit of 1 item per customer.

It’s the mess our government made. As a pro photographer, I had to use the grey market to get the Mavic 4. Looks like it’ll stay like that for a while. Maybe when things calm down in DC it’ll improve, but I’m not holding my breath.

I saw my local Microcenter had the last Neo and battery combo, so I grabbed it. Felt bad for whoever missed out. I also got the last Avata 2 Fly More combo there yesterday after checking nearby stores. It’s crazy how Amazon prices it at nearly $1800, more than half over the original price. I paid about $1280. Now I have extra goggles 3 and a motion 3 controller I probably won’t use since I have controller 3, which isn’t that great.
