According to rules of this forum and several other forums, I cannot use this platform to try and spread the word to get beta testers for my app. Where could I access a large pool of drone operators and get some feedback?
Go ahead and post a comment with the info. You’re not selling anything, so I’ve approved the post.

It looks like there was a technical issue with the previous comment. It’s all sorted now!
What do you need the drone operator (me) to do?
Edit: I am a part 107 operator so no legal worries about me operating to help you or your company.

First of all, I’d love to learn what are your use cases. Secondly what tools do you use for data analysis and how much time do you spend on analyzing the data you collect with your drone. Basically I am just curious about your workflow.
Secondly, if you are interested, I want to give you access to beta platform so you can test it out and give me feedback on what we need to improve to make the app actually useful to a drone professional.
You can fill out this form go get access - Arkensight Beta access
@Keir
Lol, you need to.hammer the big boys. All I do is take pictures and the occasional video. Sorry.

That’s fine, thanks for honesty!
What’s the apps function?

Object classification/detection and extracting information from images, videos, and orthomosaics using natural language querying. Basically you prompt “house with solar panel”, “road crack”, “person”, “pickup track transporting yellow boxes”, or whatever else you are interested in. The output is bounding box around the object on the image/video/orthomosaic + metadata related to the detection such as gps location, area and object counter.
@Keir
Great idea
@Keir
I have 8 years worth of all kinds of maps to play with. I also process all my own data locally. DM me if interested.

Pm me on the side if you want
@Denny
Sure! Feel free to fill out the form in the comments above
DM me as well. I’ve developed some interesting technology and would love to compare notes.

DM sent!
Sounds like a cool idea! Question for you, would there be a possibility/use-case for this program for spray drone operators? For example, the program could stitch images together to make an orthomosaic and have it map a field boundary with a prompt and automatically mark trees and other objects as obstacles for the drone to fly around and avoid?
I use Pix4D for this currently, and it’s all done by hand. An automated version would be beneficial imo
@Flowky
That’s a very cool and practical use case!
Right now, stitching images and creating a map from it is not possible, as the program takes maps that are already created in Pix4D or similar tools. But that’s definitely something that could be added as a feature to streamline the workflow.
Would it be useful even if you first need to create the map in Pix4D and then import it to Arkensight?
I am building Arkensight, a cloud-based AI platform for analyzing drone data using natural language querying. Basically, with a simple prompt you can detect/classify objects and extract informatiom from images, videos, and orthomosaics.
I have just launched beta ecently and I am looking for drone professionals operating in civilian, industrial, and commercial sectors to test it out. If anyone is interested, you can fill in the form and get a free access to the platform.
The main goal is to get feedback on how to improve this to make it actually useful to drone operators. So I’d appreciate all thoughts!
Hello! I came across your post here and I have to ask, would I be welcomed even though I’m just technically a "recreational pilot or "hobbyist "? Lol Kind of sounds funny to ask in a way but, I’m studying to get my license now. Thanks
