Where can we even buy drones now if DJI's not shipping to the US anymore?

Kinda confused here… I keep seeing different info. Is DJI really done shipping to the US or is it just more expensive now? Anyone got a straight answer or a place to still get a fair price?

Prices are still pre-tariff for now—they even say so on the DJI website. I noticed the Air 3S is still in stock too.

But should I just wait for the Mini 5 Pro though?

Hard to say… if you wait, tariffs might kick in by then. Kinda a gamble.

@Whitney
Man I really hope those tariffs go away soon, cuz I am not dropping $3K on a mini-sized drone :sob:

Yup, just look it up!

DJI is still shipping, but original prices are basically doubled now. You can still try Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, Adorama, etc.

Weird though… the DJI Store app is still showing regular prices.

@Galen
If you’re keeping up with recent tariff stuff, pretty much everything from video games to electronics has gone up. Prices might seem normal at checkout, but there could be fees later.

Hmm, okay. Just checked again and it still says $1099 for the Air 3S.

Yeah, but once it hits US customs, you might get charged extra. Definitely do your research—most drone parts and gear from China are getting hit with extra costs right now.

Fr?

@Galen
That’s not really how it works. Tariffs are paid by the company importing the item. If they decide to eat the cost, you won’t see it. If not, they raise the price. But if you’re buying direct and something gets stuck in customs unpaid, it just won’t get delivered.

@Sky
Funny how the people yelling ‘do your own research’ are usually the most wrong lol

@Sky
Actually yeah, this is kinda off. Tariffs are paid by whoever is importing. If DJI has inventory already in the US, they already paid. But if they’re shipping from China directly to you, you technically become the importer—and that’s when it can get tricky.

@Sky
Lmao… it’s wild how many people believe this stuff without checking

@Sky
Exactly. The US can’t make a company in China pay anything. DJI might collect and pay the tariff for you, but they’re not required to. End of the day, it’s the buyer’s responsibility if they’re importing it themselves.
