Quick question; you want people to share where they fly but you have to pay to place unlimited pins? Seems counter intuitive when the DJI fly app has the option to review places where people fly already? Am I missing something here?
@Fifer
You raise a good point, and in actual fact - that’s a typo as that used to be my model, but as you say - not great when there’s plenty of other places that you can do this for free and I therefore removed the cap on maximum number of uploads (thanks for raising, I’ll update the wording!)
As an indie developer I’m keen to make money from the hard work poured into these apps, so figuring out the best way to do this isn’t always clear. I appreciate there are places like the DJI app where this can be done for free, but I also think supporting a smaller indie developer with an app that users could actually make a difference to and request features on is something worthwhile as well - but again, I could be wrong!
@Nevin
Ahhhh okay if there’s no cap now that makes more sense! I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this app as I only recently got my drone so always looking for where other people suggest for flying!
@Fifer
That’s awesome. Thanks for pointing it out! Let me know if you think of any new features you think would benefit the app, always happy to receive feedback.
