Which one looks better? (DJI Mini 4K)

In the first picture, the land is properly exposed, but the sky and clouds are blown out. In the second image, the sky and clouds are properly exposed, but the land is underexposed. You need to blend both to create one picture with properly exposed elements. You can use Lightroom or any online HDR image editing software.

Is it extremely grainy or is that just reddit?

Reddit being reddit.

Use an HDR software to combine the images :slight_smile:

To my eyes, #1 looks better but the sky has issues. You need the sky of #2 with the landscape of #1.

Mashed up both photos.

@Dev
That’s more like it :ok_hand:t6: Very beautiful place btw.

The sky is overexposed in 1. And it looks like it’s extremely grainy, maybe add some noise reduction in the drone settings next time.

But it’s a beautiful landscape nevertheless.

By the way, Reddit made the quality grainy; besides that I’ll take your advice :ok_hand:.

If ever there was a real-world case study for gradient ND filters. Or you can combine both in post.

  1. More detail.
