Why do you think no US drone company has taken on DJI yet?

It’s mainly about cost and production. The US just can’t make stuff as cheaply or quickly as China can. American companies do better at the high end but don’t have the same volume capabilities.

Government subsidies and tax breaks also play a huge role in why China outcompetes.

And then there’s the issue of stolen intellectual property.

Yeah, DJI’s had to deal with a lot of IP disputes over the years.

Wage differences are massive. In the US, companies pay a lot more, and that cost is passed onto consumers.

But then how do we dominate in so many other sectors? It’s not just about wages.

It’s a mix of things. The culture of innovation and the business environment in the US is different.

It’s not like Japan has crushed the US car market. There’s still strong competition, unlike in drones.

I’ve used some high-end US-made drones, and they don’t hold up to DJI at all. The tech and quality just aren’t there.

China can copy and produce your designs faster than you can get your own product out the door.

But DJI has been the innovator, not just a copycat. That’s why they’re so far ahead.

Cost-cutting and speed are the name of the game.

I’d love to buy American, but it’s just not competitive when everything’s cheaper from China.

Some companies have tried moving manufacturing back to the US to cut costs, but it’s not easy.

China’s got the whole process down to a science, from the workers to the technology.

The efficiency of their workforce just makes it hard for the US to keep up.

Don’t forget China’s energy strategy; it’s all about keeping costs low no matter what.

Actually, China’s been investing heavily in renewables, but it’s a gradual shift.

The headlines don’t always capture the full picture of what’s happening in China.

It’s easy to blame China, but they’re making strides that other countries aren’t.

Still, they’re far from perfect.

True, but they’re doing a lot more than most.

China’s actions speak louder than their words on emissions.
