What’s up guys…
I’m getting into mini FPV racing drones and I’m trying to decide between Tattu 2s and 3s LiPo batteries. I’ve read a lot of mixed opinions on which one is better for racing in terms of performance, flight time, and overall experience.
For those with experience, which one do you recommend for mini FPV racing drones? What are the pros and cons of using a 2s vs a 3s battery?

When deciding between 2s and 3s LiPo batteries for mini FPV racing drones, it’s essential to match the “s” rating of each component. Using higher voltage (3s) batteries without checking compatibility can permanently damage parts. Check that motors and ESCs can handle 3s, while ensuring other components like VTX are rated for 2s to avoid issues.

It’s important to be mindful of the voltage ratings when using different batteries to power your drone. Using higher voltage batteries, such as a 3s instead of a 2s, can potentially cause permanent damage to the electrical components. I recommend checking the voltage rating (“s” rating) of each individual component. For example, while the motors and ESCs may be rated for 3s, the VTX might only be rated for 2s.
