Is this still abandoned
The city owned it, and while I haven’t been there recently, they were in the process of demolishing it and exploring new uses for the site.
I shot a video using my Evo II drone by Autel Robotics, and I have to say, I absolutely love this drone!
The video features the abandoned Seven Peaks Salt Lake, formerly known as Raging Waters, which is now owned by Salt Lake City.
Blue Island Resort was initially in talks to acquire and renovate the park but likely backed out due to the high costs of the needed repairs.
After Seven Peaks Salt Lake took over from Raging Waters, the park began to decline.
There was talk of the city possibly suing Blue Island Resort, but I’m not sure if that’s still in progress.
In the video, I discuss the water park for a few minutes before showcasing the cinematic footage I created.
