In the US, you still need a TRUST certificate no matter the weight.

Considering Reddit’s user base is heavily US-centric, it’s not surprising people default to discussing US regulations.

Not everyone here is from the US. Assuming otherwise is short-sighted. Also, DJI markets the 249g mark globally, so the weight argument isn’t exclusive to the US.
