Hey Fam,
My Mini 2 SE crashed, breaking the gimbal plastic housing. The camera and gimbal are fine.
I have searched YouTube and forums but cannot find much on this specific issue. I need advice on separating the gimbal from the plastic housing. The bearing is stuck and won’t come out easily. I have tried gently prying and pushing, but it’s not working.
There’s a tool for this, but it costs around $50, and some forum posts suggest the gimbal may need calibration through Python afterward.
I need advice on whether to fix it or sell it for parts and buy a new one.
I am short on money and use this for work.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I’m sorry to hear about the incident with your drone. To avoid further damage, I don’t recommend attempting a self-repair. Please send it in for a proper diagnosis and examination. After inspecting the damage, the service team will provide a thorough repair plan. To start the process, please submit an online request via DJI Account

Thank you for responding, however the warranty is already void. I do not have enough money to have it serviced by your personnel. If you could direct me to some materials on how to disconnect the gimbal from the vibration housing, I would be quite appreciative.

Thank you for getting back to me. I understand that you don’t provide disassembling instructions as it’s not part of your after-sales service. I’ll send in my product for service if needed. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
