Not necessarily. It’s a good idea if you’re flying commercially, though. Liability coverage is the main thing you’d want.

It’s a Quad Bayer sensor like the Mini 3/4 and Air 3. The advertised 50MP resolution isn’t always active.

The Air 3S is significantly larger than the Mini.

It depends on your needs. If you want the best possible photo quality, wait for the Mavic 4. Otherwise, the Air 3S should be fine.

I still fly my Air 2S. It’s a great drone, and the upgrades on the newer models aren’t game-changing.
