Fly forward, keep it smooth, and reverse the footage in an editor later.

“Reverse the footage in post” sounds great in theory, but in practice, it’ll probably end up with the water flowing uphill.

Unless you have something like an Inspire or a pre-programmed route, it’s better than losing your drone for a shot that’s probably not even for a client anyway, right?
