Got the Neo hoping for some smooth flying, but it’s acting strange. It jerks a few inches in random directions every few seconds, almost like it’s confused about where to go. I’ve updated the firmware, so I’m wondering if that’s the problem? Only been using it with the Controller 3. Thoughts?
Haven’t noticed any issues unless I make sharp turns… feels like the motors might be a bit weak when doing that.
Are you talking about the FPV Controller 3? And was there any wind when you were flying?

Yeah, it’s the two-joystick Controller 3. They have so many names, it’s confusing. It’s just a regular joystick controller, like most FPV quads use. And no, I checked—wind was at 2mph, couldn’t even feel it. I’m uploading a video of my flights now.
Was there any wind? It’s a super light drone, I could see it getting pushed around easily, even by a passing car. Haven’t used this model myself, though.

Weather says 2mph wind, so not much. It’s like something keeps bumping into the Neo, making it jump every few seconds. I’ll post a video soon so you can see what I mean.
@Mason
Alright, let’s check out the video when you post it. Maybe you could reach out to DJI for their input?

I just shared the video link in another comment. Doesn’t DJI support sometimes respond to posts on this forum? I’m going to test it again when the sun’s up and see if it’s an issue with flying in the dark.
Here’s a video showing the problem. It keeps jerking to the side randomly. Maybe it’s struggling because it’s too dark? Didn’t have this issue with the Avata 2, but I’m not sure how this smaller drone handles low light…
@Mason
I’ve seen a lot of videos saying it has trouble in low light and might try to land by itself when it’s too dark. Could be that? Would be interesting to see how it performs during the day.
