Anyone else think drones and dogs make a funny combo?

I was joking with my wife that drones should come bundled with excuses to get a new one for Christmas… like ‘Honey, I need this for walking the dog!’

Reminds me of, ‘Honey, the dog needs surgery again.’

If your dog gets close enough to a drone to get hurt, that’s on the pilot.

Or maybe the dog just chases it, grabs the winch, and pulls it down.

@Cory
Still sounds like a pilot problem to me.

I doubt this is for serious missions anyway. These setups are probably just for messing around, like flying a soda to your neighbor.

But I’m struggling to see the connection to ‘drones being used to kill people in Ukraine.’

No way they’re using hobby drones and attachments like these for that.

They use whatever drones they can get. I know for a fact some DJI drones with these attachments were sent there last year.

We need to make drones safe for everyone again.

That must be a tiny dog, like one of those purse-sized ones!

Syma X5C drones are great for dogs! My Schnauzer loves chasing it around.

It’s amazing how many times he’s ‘taken it down’ and it still flies. Plus, it’s perfect for practicing flying skills before upgrading to a better model. Keeping it out of the dog’s reach has definitely helped my piloting skills.

I actually had a dog grab a Mini right out of the air just after liftoff! The little guy broke my drone, but he was so cute I couldn’t even be mad.

‘What do you mean this needs Part 107 approval? It’s just a fun flight!’
