Does anyone know if there’s any info about the Avata 3 release? I’m thinking about just getting the Avata 2 combo with two extra batteries, but if the next one is around the corner I might hold off a bit.

Haha I was about to ask if it stars blue people. But seriously, there’s been no signs of an Avata 3—no FCC stuff, no real rumors, not even whispers outside your post. If DJI’s pattern holds, maybe you’ll hear something in 6 months, but I’d guess at least 1–2 years for a new model. I’m still holding out hope for a lightweight FPV drone under 250g though.
Avata 3 sounds like a James Cameron sequel 
supposedly ‘Avatar 3: Fire and Ash’ is hitting theaters December 2025. Not much help for drones, I know.
