So we all agree it’s best to stick with DJI batteries… but what about using a non-DJI charging hub? Is it a good idea or should I just avoid it?
It’s like 20 bucks more for the DJI one. Worth it just for the peace of mind, honestly.
I’ve been using a third-party one for about a year now, no problems at all… your experience might be different though.

Same here, no problems either.
I’ve got the 6-port Lyongtech intellicharger. Works great. It even discharges the batteries if they just sit around too long.
Just keep in mind, if something goes wrong, DJI might not cover it under warranty if you’re not using their charger. Personally, I’d pay a little more and play it safe.
It’s a yes from me. I’ve used both types and never had an issue. Usually the real problem is the power adapter not being strong enough.
And for hubs that show the battery cycle count without powering up the drone—huge yes. I sell drones and that saves so much time when checking them one by one.
