I need an external antenna for the motion controller and goggles to increase range. I also need to be able to fly from a location that blocks RF, so the antennas would have to be placed outside.
Any suggestions?
Range extenders only work if they have their own power source. Just sticking some metal on your antenna won’t do anything.
Honestly, external ‘extenders’ don’t improve range much unless you modify the DJI FPV RC’s antennas. Even then, it depends on the goggles. The first-gen Avata already has limited range, and the stock range on the motion controller is just bad.
