Anyone know how long it takes to get a commercial pilot's license?

I’ve seen a lot of people here with their commercial pilot’s license for drones. Can anyone give me an idea of how long it takes and how much it costs?

I used a course from Pilot Institute. Studied for about 10 days and scored a 98%. The test itself costs $175, so remember to add that into your budget if you’re taking a course.

Was that 10 full days or just a few hours each day?

@Miko
More like 3-4 hours a day. I usually cram when I study. For most people, it’s about 2 weeks of steady study time.

I did the same course, but I waited until Black Friday to buy it. Last year it went down to $107.

Only took me around 6 hours of study time and 15 minutes to take the test… but I tend to pick things up fast.

It took me about 3 weeks to study. Paid $175 for the test and license. I just used free videos on YouTube and did some online practice tests.

Could take a while depending on your study style and schedule. Costs around $175 for the test itself.

It’s a bit like getting a driver’s license… just find a test center and get a study guide. If you’re well-prepared, you won’t have to worry about losing $200 on a retake. It’s not that hard if you’re ready.
